The Yale Lockmaster AutoEngage gearboxes are a unique solution for securing timber and composite doors, standing out with their compact design and advanced features. Measuring only 201mm in height, these gearboxes are engineered for efficiency and ease of installation.

Compact Design: The AutoEngage gearbox is only 201mm high, with the top positioned 82mm from the spindle, making it suitable for various door types.

Backset Options: Available in 45mm or 55mm backsets, these gearboxes are designed to accommodate different door specifications. Remember to allow an additional 2-3mm for the faceplate when measuring backsets.

Secure Installation: Gearboxes are affixed to faceplates with three screws, ensuring a robust and secure fit. Note that these gearboxes are not interchangeable with other Lockmaster locks.

Automatic Locking Mechanism: This model features an automatic locking system, engaging the latch and locking points as the door closes, providing enhanced security without additional effort.
How to Operate:
To Lock the Door:
- Close the door to automatically engage the latch and locking points.
- Turn the key to deadlock the mechanism for added security.
To Unlock the Door:
- Turn the key to unlock the mechanism.
- If equipped with a lever, push it down to retract the locking points. Alternatively, a quarter turn of the key will retract the latch for door access.
