Strand Hardware PHT50 Single Point Touch Bar Latch
The Strand Hardware PHT50 is a single point touch bar latch designed for use on a single door (timber, metal, or PVCu) or the active leaf of a pair of rebated doors.
This latch comprises a touch bar and modular mechanism, complete with a dogging feature as standard (can be supplied without if required). Please note that the dogging (hold-back) facility should not be used on fire/smoke door assemblies but is suitable for escape doors.
Specifications:
- Standard Size: 840mm, suitable for doors up to 860mm wide.
- Longer Versions: Available in 1170mm and 1300mm for wider doors.
- Strikers: Supplied with strikers for timber or metal doors as standard; strikers for PVCu are available separately.
A micro-switch can be fitted in the mechanism or the touch bar, allowing the door to be integrated with equipment that monitors door status. If required, please state your preferred fitting location when ordering.
Optional outside access devices are available to provide entry from outside.
