Strand Hardware PH355 Three Point Panic Bolt
The Strand Hardware PH355 is a robust three-point panic bolt designed for use on a single door, the inactive leaf of a pair of rebated doors, or both leaves of a pair of straight-edged double doors. The center mechanism can be blanked off with the plate supplied, converting it into a two-point device for double door applications.
This product comprises a mechanism, idler, and crossarm with covered connecting rods, featuring vertical latching pullman latches at the top and bottom for enhanced security.
It suits doors up to 1050mm wide, with longer crossarms available for wider doors up to 1450mm wide and 2585mm high. For taller installations, longer rods are available to accommodate doors up to 3150mm high. The product is supplied with strikers for both timber and metal doors as standard, while strikers for PVCu are available separately.
The PH355 can be equipped with a dogging (hold-back) facility; however, this feature should not be used on fire/smoke door assemblies but is suitable for escape doors.
For added functionality, a micro-switch can be fitted in either the mechanism or idler, allowing integration with equipment that monitors door status. Please specify your preferred location when ordering.
Optional outside access devices are available, providing convenient entry from outside.
