Introducing the GU Genuine Gearbox, specifically designed for the new style GU passive (slave) locks. Please note that this gearbox is not compatible with old-style versions.
Key Features

Compatibility: Only suitable for new style GU locks, identifiable by the vertical groove at the top of the gearbox. Old-style locks have a top corner removed and are incompatible with this gearbox.

Design: This gearbox is tailored for slave doors and does not include a latch or deadbolt.

- Height: 191mm (excluding fixing lugs)
- Width: Backset + 16mm
- Fixed to faceplates with 3 screws
- Screw spacing:
- Top to middle screw: 108mm
- Middle to bottom screw: 92mm

Backset Measurement: Always allow an additional 3mm when measuring your backset if the faceplate is not attached to the gearbox.

Operation Instructions
To Lock the Door:
- Lift the handle to engage the vertical locking points.
- Turn the key to lock the system (note: on some brands, the deadbolt may engage by lifting the handle).
To Unlock the Door:
- Turn the key to unlock the system.
- Push the handle down to disengage the locking points.
