Goldline gearboxes are designed for durability and ease of use, available in two backset options: 35mm or 45mm, featuring a single spindle mechanism.
The single spindles are sprung and specifically designed for lift lever functionality only.
Dimensions:
- Overall Size: 228mm high + backset (35mm or 45mm) + 15mm
- Latch & Deadbolt Height: 30mm each
- Distance Between Latch and Deadbolt: 65mm
Installation Details:
Goldline gearboxes come with faceplates that include three screw holes for secure fitting. The measurements for the screw holes are as follows:
- Top to Middle Screw Hole: 109mm
- Middle to Bottom Screw Hole: 109mm
Note: Earlier models featured a small spindle hole near the latch for holding the latch back.
Operation Instructions:

To Lock the Door:
- Lift the handle upwards to engage the locking points.
- Secure the locking points and main deadbolt (if applicable) by turning the key.

To Unlock the Door:
- Turn the key to unlock the system.
- Push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points and retract the latch.
