Product Overview: Elite Standard Multipoint Door Lock

The Elite Standard multipoint door lock is designed specifically for passive doors on French door pairs, ensuring security and ease of use without locking points.

Key Features:

• Durable Construction: Manufactured in Europe, these locks feature a "Silbear" coating that provides exceptional protection against corrosion, tested for 480 hours in salt spray conditions.

• Identification: Look for the Elite logo stamped on the faceplate. The gearbox includes a slot and a small hole for bolt-through handles, enhancing compatibility with various door designs.

• Legacy Design: These locks are a continuation of the Roto-Frank range, utilizing the same tooling and specifications, now enhanced with the Silbear coating. Previously known as the MVD range or "Roto mark 2" locks, they offer a straightforward lock swap without the need for gearbox changes.

• Versatile Options: Available in standard and compact versions, these locks cater to shorter doors while maintaining a consistent handle height of 950mm and an overall length of 1810mm.

Technical Specifications:

• Gearbox Options: Choose between a 35mm single spindle lock or a 35mm/45mm double spindle. Gearbox dimensions are 200mm high with a backset of +19mm. Remember to account for an additional 2mm for the faceplate when measuring the backset.

• Deadbolt and Latch Details: The deadbolt projects 20mm and measures 32mm high, while the latch is 30mm high with a 10mm projection. The distance between the latch and deadbolt is 63mm.

• Centre Measurements: The centres are set at 62mm and 92mm, with the top spindle positioned 122mm from the bottom of the case. Single spindle locks feature a round hole for the second spindle, and the gearbox is designed for bolt-through fixing 19mm from the top spindle.

Operation Instructions:

• To Lock:

  1. Lift the handle upwards to engage the locking points.
  2. Turn the key to secure the locking points and main deadbolt (if applicable).

• To Unlock:

  1. Turn the key to unlock the system.
  2. Push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points and retract the latch.
