Ingenious Professional Multipoint Door Lock

The Ingenious Professional multipoint door lock is designed for security and convenience, featuring a robust mechanism with 4 rollers and 1 latch. This lock is ideal for both UPVC and aluminium doors, ensuring a reliable solution for your locking needs.

Key Features:

• Locking Mechanism: Ingenious latch hook combined with 4 roller locks for enhanced security.

• Identification: Look for the brand stamped on the faceplate or the Secured By Design logo. A small black snib below the latch can also help in identification.

• Gearbox Design: The Ingenious gearbox features a unique double spindle arrangement with centers at 62mm and 92mm. It is designed for use with sprung door furniture.

• Dimensions:

  • Overall height: 230mm
  • Screw hole spacing: 110mm (top to middle), 108mm (middle to bottom)
  • Hook and latch height: 30mm, with a distance of 75mm between them.

• Backset Measurement: When measuring the backset, allow for 2-3mm for the faceplate. For example, a 35mm backset gearbox will measure 32mm when not fixed.

• Roller Functionality: Rollers assist in compressing the door against the frame, preventing dust and water ingress, and helping to maintain the door's shape.

Operation Instructions:

• To Lock:

  1. Close the door to engage the latch automatically.
  2. Lift the handle to engage the locking points.
  3. Turn the key to lock the system.

• To Unlock:

  1. Turn the key to unlock the system.
  2. Push the handle down to disengage the locking points.
  3. A quarter turn of the key will retract the latch.

Latch Reversal: To reverse the latch, simply undo the screw, remove the latch, reverse it, and reinsert before replacing the screws.
