Latch & Deadbolt Multipoint Gearbox - Lift Lever
Product Information
Serrated Latch Reversal Button
Aubi gearboxes have been manufactured in various versions over the years, making it crucial to select the correct one, as they are not interchangeable. The current Aubi lock began production in 2010 and features different screw fixing positions compared to previous versions.
A simple way to identify whether you have the new or old version is by checking the latch reversal button; the new version will have a square latch reversal button located next to the latch.
Aubi gearboxes are designed with lift lever functionality. They measure 228mm in height and have a backset of +18mm in width. The centres (PZ) are 92mm. The latch measures 29mm in height, while the deadbolt measures 30mm. The distance from the bottom of the latch to the top of the deadbolt is 54mm.
These gearboxes are secured to their faceplates with three screws. The measurement from the top screw to the middle screw is 57mm, and from the middle screw to the bottom screw, it is 180mm.
We also stock a range of associated products for Maco G-TS gearboxes, including multipoint door locks, keeps, spindles, handles, and accessories.

To measure the backset, follow these steps:
-
Identify the Door Edge: Locate the edge of the door where the lock is installed.
-
Measure from the Edge: Use a tape measure to find the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the keyhole or latch. This distance is your backset measurement.
-
Confirm Measurement: Ensure that the measurement is accurate, as it is crucial for selecting the correct lock.
To measure the centres (PZ), do the following:
-
Locate the Keyhole: Identify the center of the keyhole on the door.
-
Measure to the Handle: Measure the distance from the center of the keyhole to the center of the handle or lever. This distance is your PZ measurement.
-
Double-Check: Verify the measurement to ensure compatibility with your lock system.
Regarding the operation of the lift lever:
The lift lever operation means that to engage the locking mechanism, you need to lift the handle upwards. This action activates the locking points, securing the door. When unlocking, simply push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points and retract the latch. This design provides ease of use and enhances security for your door.
