The Simplex L1000 Series offers a reliable solution for exterior access with a combination lock, ensuring free egress. This mechanical lock, available with a knob option, eliminates the need for battery replacements, featuring a single access code that can be programmed directly via the keypad without removing the lock from the door.
Designed for heavy-duty commercial use, this product is widely utilized in healthcare, educational, and business facilities due to its durability and ease of use.
The 1000 range includes various models tailored to different needs. This specific model comes with a key override feature. For the standard version without key override or passage mode, please refer to SKU 10001S. If you require versions with passage mode (allowing code-free usage), see SKU 10003S.
Each unit is supplied with a 70mm backset Kaba latch, fitting template, installation tools, instructions, and necessary fixings.

This product is not eligible for our standard returns procedure. Repairs will be handled by the manufacturer, and products may undergo checks according to their replacement policy.

In accordance with dormakaba’s guidance regarding Simplex mechanical and electronic push button locks, please be advised that these products should not be installed on fire doors at this time. The manufacturer is currently awaiting new EN12209 test certificates and CE marking for certain components. We will provide updates once the necessary changes are made, and the locks are deemed suitable for installation on fire doors.
