The ABT Gibbons copy gearbox is designed specifically for aluminium doors and features a convenient snib mechanism. It comes with a 22mm faceplate, ensuring a secure fit. Please note that top and bottom extensions have been discontinued.

The brackets for the extension pieces are threaded, providing added stability.

For those needing a version for UPVC doors, a model without a snib is also available.

Latch Reversal Instructions:

To reverse the latch, simply push it in, undo the screw located inside the lock case (next to the latch), remove the latch, reverse it, and reinsert.

Operating Instructions

To Lock the Door:

1. Close the door to automatically engage the latch.
2. Lift the handle to engage the additional locking points.
3. Throw the deadbolt and secure the system by turning the key. (Note: On some brands, lifting the handle will automatically throw the deadbolt.)

To Unlock the Door:

1. Unlock the system by turning the key.
2. Push the handle down to disengage the locking points.
3. A further quarter turn of the key will retract the latch.
