Exidor 322 Outside Access Device for Timber or Metal Doors
The Exidor 322 is a robust outside access device designed for both timber and metal doors, providing enhanced security and ease of use.
Key Features:
-
Lever Version with Euro Cylinder:
This model features a lever mechanism that operates with a euro cylinder, ensuring reliable access control. -
Operation:
- Locked State: When locked, the lever disengages from the mechanism, preventing unauthorized entry while still allowing the lever to pull down.
- Unlocked State: Once unlocked, the lever, spindle, and mechanism engage, allowing the shoot bolts, latch, or pullman latches to be withdrawn from outside the door.
- Post-Entry: After the door is opened, the lever remains unlocked until it is re-locked with a key. Note that this unit is NOT self-locking.
-
Durability:
The lever variant is secured to the body by a shear pin. In cases of severe abuse, the shear pin will break, protecting the internal mechanism. The shear pin can be easily replaced.
