Introducing the Kenrick Excalibur Passive Gearbox, designed specifically for French doors and featuring a sprung spindle for enhanced functionality.
The Kenrick Excalibur gearboxes come in both single and double spindle (follower) configurations, with center measurements of either 92mm or 62mm and 92mm. Both options include sprung followers, allowing for the flexibility of using either sprung or unsprung door handles.

- Overall Height: 225mm
- Mounting: Fixed to the faceplate with 3 screw holes
- Bolt-Through Handle Fixing: A hole located 21mm from the top of the case for easy installation
- Top Spindle Measurement: 128mm from the bottom of the gearbox for handle compatibility
- Backset Measurement: Remember to allow 2-3mm for the faceplate; a 35mm backset gearbox will measure 32mm when not fixed to the strip.
The Kenrick Excalibur multipoint door gearboxes feature a convenient plastic snib on the faceplate, designed to hold the latch back and prevent accidental lock-outs.
While the Kenrick Excalibur gearboxes share a resemblance with the Fullex XL series and Ingenious gearboxes, it's important to note that both Ingenious and Fullex XL multipoint gearboxes measure 230mm, making them 5mm larger than the Kenrick Excalibur.
