The Double Locking Nightlatch Door Lock features a classic and robust design, making it an ideal choice for enhancing the security of your home. With both 40mm and 60mm backset options, it is perfect for replacing most existing front door locks, especially panelled doors. The lock is particularly effective for glass panelled doors, as its ergonomic internal locking handle can be deadlocked with a simple anti-clockwise turn of the key from the inside, providing additional security against forced entry.
When the door is closed, the main bolt is automatically deadlocked into the striker, preventing retraction by unauthorized tools. A convenient snib button allows the latch to be held in the withdrawn position, making the door easily accessible without needing to operate the handle.
Designed for inward opening interior and exterior timber doors, the Double Locking Nightlatch is available in a variety of finishes, including brass effect, grey, and chrome effect, complemented by matching rim cylinders. The rim cylinder comes with three cut keys and can be configured for master keying, allowing multiple doors to be accessed with a single key. All finishes comply with BS EN 1670 Grade 3 standards for corrosion resistance, ensuring durability and reliability for your hardware.
