Borg BL7700 ECP MG Easicode Pro Front & Back Plates Digital Lock with Lever Handle & Key Override Marine Grade
The BL7700 ECP is our robust solution designed for heavy-duty specifications, making it ideal for high-traffic areas.
Featuring a sleek black MG Pro 2 finish, this unit offers enhanced UV protection and resilience against the elements, ensuring it can withstand the toughest conditions. This finish has been rigorously tested for 1000 hours in saltwater environments.
Engineered for reliability, the BL7700 ECP shares a footprint with other popular heavy-duty locks on the market, such as the Unican 1000 & 5000, facilitating an easy transition. The Easicode Pro system simplifies code changing, allowing for on-the-door code updates and a free passage function from the internal handle, preventing unauthorized code changes.
The BL7700 ECP models come equipped with a built-in key override in the lever/knob handle, utilizing a small format interchangeable core (SFIC) cylinder. This innovative key override system engages the lever/knob handle upon key rotation, making it ideal for use with heavily sprung third-party locks. The keypad lever/knob is free rotating and only engages with the clutch and 8mm spindle drive once the correct code or key is entered.
Manufactured with stainless steel coding, this lock ensures longevity and reliable operation in external environments. This variation of the BL7700 series does not come fitted with any latch and is designed to work with a pre-fitted setup or as a replacement keypad.
The unit is a heavy-duty lock suitable for both internal and external use on wooden, composite, and steel doors.
