Borg BL5403 FT Fire Tested Mortice Sashlock Digital Lock with Flat Lever Handle & Passage Mode
The BL5000 series represents a medium to heavy-duty lock with a fully clutched, flat bar handle. This keypad comes with an optional free passage mode, allowing a bypass of the coding mechanism. The BL5403 FT is fitted with an intumescent kit, along with stainless steel fixings for use on 30-minute and 60-minute fire doors. This unit comes with a 60mm backset lockcase.
An independent successful fire resistance test was carried out by BM Trada for 30 and 60 minutes in accordance with BS EN1634-1 and BS EN1363-1. Each fire-tested kit comes fully supplied with the required stainless steel fittings and intumescent kits to ensure compliance with the necessary certification.
The BL5000 series is designed for medium to heavy-duty applications where lighter duty locks may not suffice. Featuring a fully clutched flat bar handle, this lock is suitable for a variety of applications.
Each BL5403 offers an optional free passage mode, enabling a bypass to deactivate the coding chamber. Until deactivated, this allows you to enter without the need to input the code.
This variation comes with a 60x72mm euro profile lockcase, making it suitable for internal and sheltered external use on wooden doors.
