Introducing the Briton 1413E/LE Outside Access Device, designed for both timber and metal doors. This robust lever version features a euro cylinder, ensuring security and ease of use.

  • Cylinder: Supplied with a half euro cylinder, includes 3 keys, adjustable cam, and side entry retaining screw
  • Replacement Cylinder Code: I093010N (Non Restricted)
  • Masterkey System Compatibility: Can be incorporated into a masterkey system or keyed alike suite in-house (note: the euro cylinder will require replacing)
  • Shear Pin Feature: The lever variant is attached to the body by a shear pin, which breaks under severe abuse to protect the mechanism. The shear pin can be easily replaced.
  • Fixings: Supplied with fixings suitable for timber or metal doors
  • Packaging: Boxed
  • Handing: Non-handed (lever is reversible)
  • Mounting: Surface mounted on the outside of the door using machine screws

Operation

  • Locked State: When locked, the lever disengages from the mechanism but still pulls down, preventing unauthorized entry.
  • Unlocked State: When unlocked, the lever, spindle, and mechanism engage, allowing the shoot bolts, latch, or pullman latches to be withdrawn from outside the door.
  • Lever Locking: Once the door is opened from either side, the lever remains unlocked until re-locked with a key. Please note that the unit is NOT self-locking.
