Description
Product Overview: Simplex 3000 Mechanical Pushbutton Lock
The Simplex 3000 mechanical pushbutton lock is designed for narrow stile glazed aluminum doors, offering a reliable and efficient solution for exterior access through a combination code. This fully mechanical lock eliminates the need for battery replacements, ensuring low maintenance costs. It features a single access code that can be easily programmed via the keypad without the need to remove the lock from the door.
Compatibility and Components
The Simplex 3000 series does not come with a locking device; it is intended to be used with an aluminum door deadlatch, such as the Adams Rite 4710 deadlatch. When ordering, consider the two main components: the housing and the drive assembly.
-
Housing: This is the visible part of the digital lock on the door. There are two versions available: a standard unit and one with an integrated cylinder guard. Notably, housings are not handed, making them versatile for various installations.
-
Drive Assembly: This component attaches to the door behind the housing and is handed, meaning it is specific to the door's configuration. Ensure compatibility with your backset locking device before ordering.
