Permdor gearboxes are designed for versatility and reliability, available in two backset options: 35mm or 45mm, featuring a single spindle mechanism.

The single spindles are sprung and specifically designed for lift lever functionality, ensuring smooth operation.

Dimensions:

• Overall Size: 228mm high + backset (35mm or 45mm) + 15mm
• Latch & Deadbolt Height: 30mm each
• Distance Between Latch and Deadbolt: 65mm

Installation Details:

Permdor gearboxes are compatible with faceplates that include three screw holes. The measurements for the screw holes are as follows:

• Top to Middle Screw Hole: 109mm
• Middle to Bottom Screw Hole: 109mm

Note that earlier versions of these gearboxes featured a small spindle hole at the top of the case, adjacent to the latch, which was used to hold the latch back.

Operation: Lift Lever

To operate the gearbox:

• Locking the Door:

  1. Lift the handle upwards to engage the locking points.
  2. Secure the locking points and main deadbolt (if applicable) by turning the key.

• Unlocking the Door:

  1. Unlock the system by turning the key.
  2. Push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points and retract the latch.
