• Global Availability: While multipoint locks with an 85mm PZ are rare in the UK, they are prevalent across Europe and other regions. This lock is an excellent replacement option for existing 85mm centre locks, even those not branded by Accado.

• Backset Options: Sold in Turkey with backsets of 25mm, 28mm, and 35mm, the version fitted to UK PVCu doors typically has a 35mm backset and a 16mm faceplate. The rollers are strategically positioned at 308mm and 824mm above the spindle, and 300mm and 806mm below.

Replacement Considerations

If the handles on your door are damaged, sourcing replacements can be challenging. In such cases, it is advisable to consider swapping the lock for a 92mm PZ version, which may allow for easier handle replacement by repositioning the roller keeps.

Gearbox Specifications

Accado gearboxes are characterized by their 85mm centre measurement. Newer models feature a cut-out groove for handle fixings, while older versions have a curved top and are no longer available but can be interchanged with newer gearboxes. Some versions also include a black plastic cover on one side.

• Dimensions: Gearboxes measure 225mm high by 51mm wide, exclusively available with a 35mm backset when fitted to B&Q doors.
