Elite Standard Multipoint Door Lock Overview

The Elite Standard multipoint door lock is engineered for security and durability, featuring a robust design that includes:

• 4 Rollers
• 2 Hooks
• 1 Deadbolt
• 1 Latch

This lock serves as a direct replacement for select older Roto locks, ensuring compatibility and ease of installation.

Key Features

• Versatile Applications: Suitable for various door types, the Elite multipoint lock is crafted in Europe and boasts a "Silbear" coating, providing exceptional protection with 480 hours of salt spray resistance.

• Identification: Look for the Elite logo stamped on the faceplate. The gearbox includes a slot and a small hole for bolt-through handles, enhancing functionality.

• Manufacturing Legacy: Elite has taken over the production of these locks from Roto-Frank, maintaining the same specifications and tooling, with the added benefit of the new Silbear coating.

• Compact Options: Available in both standard and compact versions, these locks cater to shorter doors while maintaining a consistent handle height of 950mm.

Specifications

• Gearbox Dimensions: 200mm high with a backset of +19mm. Remember to account for an additional 2mm for the faceplate when measuring.

• Deadbolt and Latch Measurements:

  • Deadbolt projects 20mm and is 32mm high.
  • Latch is 30mm high and projects 10mm.
  • The distance between the latch and deadbolt is 63mm.

• Centre Measurements: Positioned at 62mm and 92mm, with the top spindle located 122mm from the bottom of the case.

Operation Instructions

To lock the door:

1. Close the door to engage the latch automatically.
2. Lift the handle to engage the locking points.
3. Turn the key to secure the system.

To unlock the door:

1. Turn the key to unlock the system.
2. Push the handle down to disengage the locking points.
3. A quarter turn of the key will retract the latch.

Additional Information

• Latch Reversal: Easily reverse the latch by undoing the screw, flipping it, and reinserting it.

• Compatibility: This lock is commonly used in UPVC and aluminium doors.
