ERA locks may also be stamped Homesafe, Surelock, Saracen, Spartan, Duraflex, Supa, Westward, or Cego.

Originally designed to replace GU, Lockmaster, and Winkhaus locks without the need for new routing positions, these locks are available in two options.

Backset Options:

  • 28mm
  • 30mm
  • 35mm
  • 45mm

Operation:

  • Lift lever or split spindle nightlatch.

Latch Reversal:
To reverse the latch, simply undo the screws in the latch to remove it. Reverse the latch, reinsert it, and replace the screws.

Measuring Guidelines

To ensure accurate measurements for your lock installation, follow these guidelines:

Backset Measurement:

  1. Measure from the edge of the door to the center of the keyhole.
  2. Ensure the door is closed for an accurate reading.

Centres Measurement:

  1. Measure the distance from the top of the lock to the center of the keyhole.
  2. This is crucial for aligning the lock correctly.

Faceplate Measurement:

  1. Measure the width and height of the existing faceplate.
  2. This ensures a proper fit for the new lock.
