The Swiftframe gearbox is designed for durability and versatility, featuring a double spindle with 92/70mm centres. It is essential to note that the fixing points are not threaded, necessitating the use of self-tapping screws for installation.

Compatibility Note: Older locks may feature an offset or cranked connector. When replacing a gearbox, ensure to adapt the drive gear behind the faceplate, as replacement gearboxes now come with inline connectors. Follow our technical guide for detailed instructions, including cutting a square hole in the drive gear to ensure proper functionality.

Operation Instructions:

• To Lock the Door:

  1. Close the door to automatically engage the latch.
  2. Lift the handle to engage additional locking points.
  3. Throw the deadbolt and secure the system by turning the key (some brands may allow the deadbolt to be thrown by lifting the handle).

• To Unlock the Door:

  1. Turn the key to unlock the system.
  2. Push the handle down to disengage the locking points.
  3. A quarter turn of the key will retract the latch.
