Key Features:

The Yale Lockmaster Key Turn lock is designed for contemporary timber and composite doors. It utilizes a key wind mechanism, ensuring that the door can only be closed with the key retracting the latch.

Available in two styles:

• Classic: Main gearbox positioned centrally.
• Heritage: Main gearbox located at the height of traditional timber door night latches.

These locks are typically paired with modern pull handles, enhancing their aesthetic appeal.

Distinctive Design:

The Key Turn gearbox stands out from regular Lockmaster gearboxes, featuring a unique design with a corner removed. It is available exclusively in a 45mm backset.

Installation Notes:

• Gearboxes are secured to faceplates with three screws and are not interchangeable with other Lockmaster locks.
• When measuring the backset, account for an additional 2-3mm for the faceplate. For instance, a 28mm backset gearbox will measure 25mm when detached from the strip.

Operation: Key Wind

To Lock the Door:

1. Close the door to automatically engage the latch.
2. Turn the key to throw and engage the locking points.

To Unlock the Door:

1. Turn the key to unlock by unwinding the locking points.
2. A further quarter turn retracts the latch.
