Introducing our intumescent fire and smoke seals designed specifically for fire door assemblies. These innovative seals feature a graphite-based intumescent material housed within a durable PVC sleeve, making them easy to install into the rebates of either the door leaves or the frame. In the event of a fire, the seal expands significantly, creating a robust barrier that effectively prevents the passage of fire, smoke, and hot gases.
Each fire and smoke seal comes with a self-adhesive backing tape, ensuring a quick and hassle-free installation process. Our intumescent fire seals are available with or without an additional cold smoke seal, which is made from nylon pile. This smoke seal is crucial as it provides a permanent barrier against smoke, which can travel faster and further than flames.
For added versatility, our intumescent fire seal is also available with a black Neoprene single blade smoke seal and comes in a variety of colors to match your aesthetic preferences.
Product Specification
- Fire Resistance: Tested for 30 minutes with 10mm and 15mm seals - Certifire Approved.
- Extended Fire Resistance: Tested for 60 minutes with 20mm and 25mm seals.
