Introducing our Lockmaster gearboxes, designed specifically for Lockmaster locks. These gearboxes come in both single spindle and double spindle versions, with the single spindle models being sprung for optimal performance.
Lockmaster gearboxes are available in two backset sizes: 35mm and 45mm. For bifold doors, we offer specialized versions with backsets of 25mm and 28mm.

Double Spindle Locks:
- Feature 62mm and 92mm centres.
- Unsprung design; we recommend using sprung door handles.
- Versatile operation as lift lever or double spindle night latch.

Single Spindle Locks:
- Sprung mechanism, limited to lift lever function.

Dimensions:
- Gearbox height: 228mm + backset (add 15mm).
- Latch and deadbolt height: 30mm each.
- Distance between latch and deadbolt: 65mm.

Installation:
- Gearboxes are fitted to faceplates with three screw holes.
- Top to middle screw hole: 109mm; middle to bottom: 109mm.

Historical Note:
- Earlier models included a small spindle hole near the latch for holding the latch back.

45mm Version:
- Similar to the 35mm version but includes an extended latch and deadbolt, plus a cover plate for conversion.

Operation Instructions:
To Lock the Door:
- Lift the handle upwards to engage the locking points.
- Secure the locking points and main deadbolt (if applicable) by turning the key.
To Unlock the Door:
- Turn the key to unlock the system.
- Push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points and retract the latch.
