Ultimate Collection Multipoint Gearbox
The Ultimate Collection gearboxes feature a unique double spindle arrangement with centers at 62mm and 92mm. Both followers are unsprung, so we recommend using sprung door furniture for optimal performance. Additionally, the top corner of the gearbox is cut out for enhanced functionality.

Screw Hole Configuration: Fixed to the faceplate with 3 screw holes
- Distance from top screw hole to middle screw hole: 110mm
- Distance from middle screw hole to bottom screw hole: 108mm
Both the hook and the latch (which includes a screw) measure 30mm in height, with a distance of 75mm between them.
When measuring the backset, remember to allow 2-3mm for the faceplate. For instance, a 35mm backset gearbox will measure 32mm when not fixed to the strip.
Features
The Ultimate Collection multipoint door gearboxes come equipped with a small plastic snib on the faceplate. This feature allows you to hold the latch back for convenience and helps prevent accidental lock-outs.
It's worth noting that these gearboxes bear a resemblance to the Fullex XL series (also 230mm), so we recommend comparing the hook boxes against the pictures for confirmation, as they are distinct.
Operation
- Lift Lever or Double Spindle
- Latch Reversal: To reverse the latch, simply undo the screw, remove it, reverse it, and reinsert before replacing the screws.
Locking Procedure
- Close the door to automatically engage the latch.
- Lift the handle to engage the additional locking points.
- Throw the deadbolt and lock the system by turning the key (on some brands, the deadbolt will engage by lifting the handle).
Unlocking Procedure
- Unlock the system by turning the key.
- Push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points.
- A further quarter turn of the key will retract the latch.
