The Roto C600 gearboxes are designed for durability and efficiency, measuring 213mm in height with a backset that varies by model, plus an additional 18mm in width. Each unit features a robust 30mm x 10mm latch and a 30mm high bolt, with a spacing of 57.5mm between the latch and deadbolt. A unique elongated piercing allows for bolt installation, measuring between 136mm and 173mm from the center of the euro cut-out.
Equipped with a "whisper latch," the Roto C600 ensures a quiet door closure thanks to its central plastic component. While most units come with this feature, some rare variations may lack the plastic insert.
In European markets, backsets range from 25mm to 80mm, with the UK primarily offering 35mm and 45mm options. When measuring the backset, remember to account for a 2-3mm allowance for the faceplate; thus, a 35mm backset gearbox will measure approximately 32mm when not attached to the strip.

To Lock the Door
- Close the door to automatically engage the latch.
- Turn the key to throw and engage the locking points.
To Unlock the Door
- Turn the key to unlock by "unwinding" the locking points.
- A further quarter turn of the key will retract the latch.
