The Maco C-TS multipoint door lock is designed for enhanced security and durability, featuring a robust configuration that includes:

Key Features
Introduced in 2012, the Maco Protect C-TS locks have effectively replaced the older G-TS range, offering a versatile solution with a split spindle function. This allows for both lift lever and split spindle operations, making it a single replacement option for the G-TS series.
Identification
You can easily identify C-TS locks by the Maco logo on the faceplate and the unique shape of the locking gearboxes. They are available in traditional 16mm and 20mm faceplates, with some models featuring a "Top Hat" faceplate that provides a seamless finish by covering routing details.
Installation Considerations
While the C-TS locks supersede the G-TS range, they are not a direct swap. The locking points are positioned differently, which may require adjustments to the door and keeps during installation.
Design and Dimensions
The C-TS locks have a distinctive rounded shape, particularly noticeable in the main gearbox and hook boxes. Measuring 202mm high, they are among the smaller gearboxes available. The latch and deadbolt measure 30mm high, with a spacing of 55mm between them.
Operation
The lock operates using a split spindle mechanism. To lock the door, simply lift the handle to engage the locking points and turn the key. Unlocking involves turning the key and pushing the handle down to retract the latch.
Security Features
Maco's i.S. cams, made from hardened steel, serve as rollers that assist in compressing the door against the frame, enhancing weather sealing and preventing warping. The lock also features two types of hook arrangements for added security:
- Standard Uni-Directional Hook: Throws upwards regardless of position.
- Hook and Anti Lift Pin: Provides higher security with additional protection against forced entry.
