Designed to provide a reliable solution for such applications, the BL7700 ECP shares a footprint with other popular heavy-duty locks on the market, such as the Unican 1000 & 5000, facilitating an easy switch. Code changing has been simplified with the Easicode Pro system, allowing for on-the-door code changes and a free passage function from the internal handle, preventing unauthorized code change attempts.
The BL7700 ECP models feature a built-in key override in the lever/knob handle, utilizing a SFIC (small format interchangeable core) cylinder. This innovative key override system for Borg Locks engages the lever/knob handle upon key rotation, making it ideal for use with potentially heavily sprung third-party locks. The keypad lever/knob is free rotating and only engages with the clutch and 8mm spindle drive until the correct code or key is entered.
Manufactured with stainless steel coding, this lock ensures longevity and is suitable for external operation. This variation of the BL7700 series does not come fitted with any latch and is designed to work with a pre-fitted setup or as a replacement keypad.
The unit is a heavy-duty lock, suitable for use internally and externally on wooden, composite, and steel doors.
