Handed Design: Ensure you select the correct handed lock. If the door opens inward and is hinged on the left, choose a right-hand lock. For a right-hinged door, opt for a left-hand lock.

Locking Mechanism: Upon closing, the latch and locking points engage automatically. A turn of the key will deadlock the hooks for added security.
