The Lockmaster AutoEngage multipoint door lock is designed for enhanced security and convenience, featuring a robust configuration of 1 deadbolt, 1 latch, and 2 autolatches. This innovative locking system is known for its automatic locking mechanism, often referred to as a "slam shut" lock, ensuring your door is securely locked as soon as it closes.

Key Features:

• Automatic Locking: The lock engages automatically when the door is closed, with two security latches firing to provide up to 20mm of deadbolt engagement.

• Easy Operation: No need to lift the handle for locking; simply close the door. For added security, the door can be deadlocked using a key or thumb turn.

• Distinctive Design: The Yale AutoEngage features unique deadlatch locking points that resemble standard latches, integrated within the main gearbox.

• Versatile Compatibility: Suitable for both timber and composite doors, available in Classic and Heritage styles to fit various door designs.

• Compact Gearbox: The AutoEngage gearbox measures only 201mm high, with a top measurement of 82mm from the spindle, designed for easy installation.

• Durability: Tested to PAS24:2016 standards, corrosion tested to BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 4 for 240 hours, and endurance tested for 100,000 cycles.

Installation and Operation:

• Backset Measurement: Choose from 45mm or 55mm backsets. Remember to allow 2-3mm for the faceplate when measuring.

• Locking Mechanism:

  1. Close the door to engage the latch and locking points automatically.
  2. Turn the key to deadlock the mechanism for added security.

• Unlocking Process:

  1. Turn the key to unlock.
  2. If applicable, push the lever down to retract the locking points, or turn the key a quarter turn to retract the latch.
