The Fuhr 870 - Panic multipoint door lock is designed for enhanced security and emergency exit functionality, featuring 2 robust pin bolts.

This lock is compliant with EN 1125 and EN 179 standards, making it suitable for both public and non-public buildings. It includes 2 steel round bolts, a latch, and a deadbolt, ensuring reliable performance in emergency situations.

To meet these standards, it must be paired with an approved free movement cylinder and panic bar. The 870 allows for easy emergency exit from the inside, while outside access is controlled via a key. After use, the cylinder must be locked to restore security.

Two kit options are available for the Fuhr 870, depending on whether outside access is needed. The access kit includes a silver backplate and knob handle set, allowing the door to be pulled open while the key operates the lock.

For double doors, a 3-piece lock is available for the slave leaf, which operates behind the false mullion. Shootbolt extensions enhance security on the slave leaf, while the standard 870 lock serves as the master lock. Always use a CES free movement cylinder with Fuhr panic gearing to comply with EN standards and achieve CE marking.

To achieve EN 1125 compliance for double doors, the 870 EN 1125 slave lock should be used alongside the standard master leaf setup, featuring special handed, sprung-loaded shootbolts and a non-PZ panic bar fitted to the slave leaf.

Operation: Panic

To lock the door:

1. Lift the handle upwards to engage the locking points.
2. Turn the key to lock the locking points and main deadbolt (if present).

To unlock the door:

1. Turn the key to unlock the system.
2. Push the handle downwards to disengage the locking points and retract the latch.
